Daughter born, 10 December 1974.Country and pop singer, songwriter and guitarist.Had a million-selling country and pop smash hit, "Honey," in 1968. "Honey" is one of a select few singles to reach No. 1 on both Billboard magazine's country (three weeks) and Hot 100 (five weeks) charts.Started out in a band called the Webs, who were opening for Roy Orbison on tour when he abruptly invited them to become his new backup band. His years touring and recording with Orbison prepared him for his solo career.
